I was at work and happen to be at the back of them store in Mcdonalds where i work as an Swing Manager and was watching the t.v. and saw the first plane go in to the first tower. I thought it was someone who didn't know how to fly a plane but it never crossed my mind that we were under attack. When the second plane went in to the second tower I knew we had trouble coming. I turned to my boss and immediately told him i needed to go and get my children,(I have 3 of them, 2 girls and a son) and needed them to be with me. I didn't really know what I was going to do but I knew I needed my family with me. I went and got them, there were many queastions that we were to answer in the coming hours and i also called my husband on returning to work with the children. That was the only day that I really felt alone and didn't really know what to do. I still feel the fear of that day and will never forget the anguish and pain of so many lives lost.
