I was having an angioplasti on the day of the 10 sept. 2001 and woke up in the hospital bed and turned on the t.v. just in time to see the second plane hit the tower. For a split second I thought it was a movie but I heard the excitement in the nurses station and realised this was for real. My first reaction was "shock" then "anger" as I'm a veteran, and as the morning went on I had a feeling of helplessnes, as the first thing after the news said it was an attack, I wanted to go after them bastards. the rest of the day I was deeply saddened with grief for those who died. I am writing this memo on the 10th sept 2002 and tomorrow I will commemorate with the nation that horrible day.
