911DA Story: Story
Hello everybody,
My name is Julian David Graham, from Hamburg that?s in Germany. September 11th changed our lives. It really changed mine.
I was just coming from school when cousin from Bremen called me and told me the horrible story that a plane hit the World trade center. I didn?t believe her at all. I said: ? Stupid Joke and hung ?. I sat in the living room with a coffee, I wanted to watch some MTV, or so. When I turned on the TV I seen Tower One burning. I thought it would be a crazy science fiction movie. But every channel had the same pictures. I called my mum at work to tell her. The reception was really bad so she didn?t understand what I?ve said. My dad was at work too, the only thing he said is that he?s scared and that America is facing a war. That was my first thought too.
The following days were crazy.
A mile from our house is the German Military Base. Three helicopters flew over our House not even an hour. And our President Gerhard Schr?der said: ? Das ist kein Angriff auf die USA, sondern auf die zivilisierte Welt.?
We all were scared what will happen in future. Since then I?m really interested in policies. Every day I come home from work I watch CNN Europe to get news about investigations. I?m proud to be an American but I don?t want a war against Sadam.
