Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I had just gotten up and was getting ready for the day when my phone rang and it was my mom on the phone. She said "Turn on CNN". I did and I all I could see was a huge building which I thought had just caught fire. I asked my mom "Where is that?" That's when she told me and I heard the announcer at the same time say "NYC The World Trade Center". I couldn't believe it. All I could do was stand there and cry after I found out what really happened;even though I didn't know anyone that was in the building. I kept asking myself "how can someone have so much hate in them to do this?" Then of course my thoughts went to my, at the time, unborn son. I was 4 1/2 months pregnant at the time. I kept thinking "my son will never get to see the Towers standing. Still to this day it still brings tears to my eyes whenever I think about it and what the victims and their families as well as all the rescue workers and firemen had to be feeling that day.
