Tell us your story: My mom Judy always watched CNN EVERYDAY,SO THATS HOW WE HEARD THE AWEFUL NEWS.We were all in shock,and then my mom and I turned to one another and started to cry our eyes out.I felt sooooo terrible,and helpless.I just wanted to go right to New York and lend a helping hand.My heart went out to all the families.the whole day and there after was filled with heartache.That night my mom put out a single candle on her porch and said that it was a symbol of our people as one.The people who gave their lives to help will never be forgotten.One of our local furniture stores,Cardis did a collection of all types of items that would be needed and then sent it all to New York by the truck loads.I knew that would be my way of helping,so my children and I gathered all sorts of things like blankets,candles,jackets,clothes,food etc. and took it down.People in our area were great!!!!!I hope we stay united for ever!!!That night I went to bed holding my three little ones and thanking God for giving them to me.Anyone associated with this horrible crime should be torchered and then slane.
