911DA Story: Story

When i first knew about what happened, I was in my second period French class. The bell hadn't rung yet, so the teacher had the tv on. I got maybe like a 10 second glimpse of the tv. Then the bell rang and the teacher turned off the tv and continued with the lesson like nothing had happened. It finally hit me in 3rd period, I had english. Everyone was really shocked. So as an escape, we started to joke around and discuss what was happening. Hey, it beat crying. When I got home, it REALLY hit me. I was breaking down when I was watching all the footage. Finally, I got so tired of it, that my family and I turned all the televisions off. After that, my sisters and I donated $100 each. The next day after school, my sisters and I went to a blood bank. I remember that they wouldn't let me donate blood because I was underweight. Basically, I'm never ever gonna forget, and
9-11 made me realize the harsh reality that you can lose a loved one in an instant.
