911DA Story: Story

I was sitting in the middle of lunch when all of a sudden I heard a few people talking. They were talking about plane crashes in New York and at the Pentagon. My very first thought was my grand-father. He worked around that area of the Pentagon and I hoped he wasn't dead or injured severly. When I went back to 3rd block I asked my teacher Mr. Hulan to use the phone. I tried getting through to my mom but so many people were using the phone that I couldn't get out. So I waited patiently listening to a radio since our t.v wasn't working. I just remember sitting there bawling my eyes out because I was so scared for my grand-pa. Well, as it turns out he was moved to another section that very day. He only had minor injuries and was going to be great. Unfortunatley alot of his friends weren't as lucky. I went to a big funeral for all the people at the Pentagon. I remember for the first and probably the last time seeing my strong grand-father break down into tears.
