911DA Story: Story
I would have woken up about 7:20, and gotten to school about 8:30. Someone came up to me as I wondered the school halls before class and told me that the Whitehouse had been bombed. I thought for sure they were mistaken, and obviously they were. Still though, I hadn't heard the news. I noticed the students crowded around the TV the moment I stepped into my first period class. It was 9:00. I was in shock. I didn't really know what to feel at first, it almost didn't seem real. Needless to say we didn't get much work done in that class. However, the administration made the decision to not allow the students to watch the news for the rest of the day. Some of the more obedient teachers followed those instructions, and some of the smarter teachers ignored them. It was a very interesting day all around, one I'm sure I'll never forget.
