I was on the telephone with a friend of mine when I heard the radio broadcasting the news about the plane that hit the World Trade Center. It was shortly after 9:00 a.m.
After we got off the phone, I listened more to the radio to see what was going on, and went to pick my son up from preschool. The news had hit everywhere by then. Everyone was shocked and upset. I think the more time that went by the more upset people got.
