I was listening to the radio when the news came on about the first plane hitting the World Trade Center on 09/11/01. I thought this was an accident but soon after I heard that a second plane had crashed into the second tower. I was immediately consumed with fear. Within an hour it was clear that America was under attack. I still think of all those people whom I have never met who lost their lives. I still cannot comprehend the depth of hatred that another human being can have to do such evil. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about this tragedy. I pray for all the victim's family and hope that they will be comforted in their time of deep sadness and pain.
