Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was on my way to school, on September 11, 2001, when the brutal attacks occured. I remember driving to school listening to the radio when we heard the bone chilling words, "We are being attacked". By this time we my mom was already in tears and my brothers and I werent sure how to take things. As we kept on driving the feeling was getting worse and worse. That day at school, in all classes, we talked about what was happening and going on in New York. September 11, was a very dull, with the presence of fear in the air. As my family has come to find out, one of my brothers friends' parents were killed in one of the planes that got highjacked. It was very sad, but to our amazement, he didnt take it that bad. His words were, "I know they are in heaven, and that's all that matters to me." We had a light vigil for not only his parents, but every single person that was lossed in the attacks. Til' this day we can look back and remember that sad day that has changed the lives of many. This event will be a very memorable and touching event that, I am sure will be in the history books of our grandchildren, or maybe our children.
