Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My day was starting out bad from the start. Not only was I going to arrive late for work, but I was caught in slow traffic on Lockport Rd approaching the busiest intersection in Lockport (Transit Rd). While still 3 to 4 miles out on Lockport Rd I was observing three unusual objects in the sky, directly ahead of me. As I neared Bear Ridge Rd. I could clearly see the objects appeared to be "smoke" or aircraft trails. All three were in the shape of an upside-down horseshoe (visualize a U standing on it's feet). As I approached Transit Rd, one hung directly over the intersection. Other motorists noticed them also, including the driver who stopped dead-ahead of me. The other two were now at the two o'clock and 11 o'clock positions. I decided that this unusual event should be photographed and went directly to work to get the digital camera. When I returned to the intersection, the closest one was already gone off and the other two also had changed locations. I estimated that the nearest one to me was about 2-3 miles out, past Akron Rd and that I should get back to work. When I returned to work the radio program was interrupted to bring the first news of the WTC events. Lockport is no where near the tragic events of 09-11-01, nor are these objects in the sky related in any way to those airplanes involved. But,it was brought to my attention later that long ago there was an Irish soldier fighting the English somewhere and that he witnessed similar things in the sky during the battle. He considered it an act of faith or an omen of victory. He did win and so will we.
