I'm a Housewife that also homeschooled my daughter last year for Kindergarten. I was at home that morning of September 11th (which also happens to be my husband and mines anniversary)getting ready to start school with my daughter, when my husband called shortly after 8:30 to tell me to turn the TV on. "America's being attacked" he said. I ran to turn the TV on, and watched with millions of other people in total disbelief. I cried for hours and days.It's still hard to believe one year later. It's a day I think about often and will never forget. Being "our anniversary", I hope someday we'll be able to "celebrate" without feeling guilty.
God bless those lost on that day, their loved ones and this wonderful country.
