9/11/01 The Day of Horror

September 11 2001 was one of the most horrific days in U.S. history. Many innocent people were killed by cowardly terrorists who were destined to change American?s lives forever. Osama Bin Laden the leader of the terrorists sent 21 hijackers to send 4 planes into the World Trade Centers, The Pentagon, and Somerset County. The plane that hit Somerset County was not intended there but was crash landed thanks to the brave passengers of flight 93.
I was personally affected by 9/11 because innocent people were killed. The people weren?t doing any harm to the terrorists they were just trying to do their jobs. Although I don?t know anyone who was killed in the attacks I can imagine what they are going through because I have seen many TV shows on the changed lives of the people who died.
Flight 93 may have been one of the most tragic and bravest occurrences in all of the attacks on that day. The passengers on that plane may have saved many lives with their heroism. The people on that flight attacked the terrorists who were hijacking the plane and brought the plane down with no harm to anyone else. I think this is very brave because these people saved many other Americans lives and it wasn?t going to benefit them any because they were most likely going to die anyway. This plane may have been headed for the White House or another important building but the courageous passengers on flight 93 brought it down.
The passengers of flight 93 have changed the lives of our generation because their bravery has inspired many people. I think that the bravery of the firefighters of N.Y.C. has also inspired many people. The people who live in New York are now are more proud of their city just like many people are proud of the people of New York.
I think that 9/11 has showed Americans how our country can function when everyone works together just like everyone did in New York on that day. I think that if the country continues to be this patriotic and be aware of terrorism that no attacks will ever happen like this again. I think that if Americans fear more attacks then the terrorists will have got what they wanted, to make the people of America fear unsafe in their own country.
