911DA Story: Story
Where I was during September 11th, 2001 was in 4th Grade at Northern Lights ABC. During the beginning of class, we had a metting, which I thought was something new the teacher was doing. Then I was confused when she said,
"The Twin Towers have been hit." I didn't want to ask what the Twin Towers were,since i thought i would be made fun of not knowing what they were. When I returned home, I turned on the TV, and instead of cartoons, i saw recorded images of both towers up in flames and I asked my mom whats happenning, and asked if this was a movie review.
Then my Mom said,"Bad men are blowing up the buildings to scare us." This was when I thought of my friend telling me right after school, that his dad was working in one of the towers and that was when I didn't feel confused anymore and instead felt sorrow.
