I was sitting in volleyball study hall and we were watching the news, at 9:03a.m. I witnessed the second plane hit the South Tower. I heard that one had already hit the North Tower. I did not know what to think. As for everyone in the United States I could not believe my eyes. During school time I could not seem to get my mind to concentrate, the only thing i could think about was the people in New York and the passengers on the planes. Later on that day when i got home all i did was watch the news. I remeber my mom saying " girls it's okay to be scard and upset but we have to hold our heads high and pray for these hurting families. September 11, really has opened my eyes, i didn't know how much we took for granted. I love this counrty and i'm sorry to see this happen.
