Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: As I awakened on September 11, I turned on the T.V. as usual and had my two year old son in bed watching the Today show. We all know the horrid events that transpired before our eyes. The stongest emotion I remember was an overwhelming love in my heart for my son. I held him close all day. I also called my mother in Virginia. I wanted nothing more than to go and be with her. Just to be able to call my Mom made me extremly upset, because I knew there were so many children that would not get to talk to their parents ever again. And on this day the one year anniversary it makes me thankful for my son and my family, and a deep sense of sympathy for all the victims and their loved ones.
