On the morning of 09/11 I was at work. It was only my second day on the job. I work in the customer service dept. for a large company. We heard the story of the first plane crash on the radio. We all thought that it was a freak accident. When we received word of the second crash we knew something terrible was happening. We rushed to get more radios and t.v.s . It seemed like it was happening so fast. Everytime we looked at the news something new was happening. We were all in a state of shock. We work less than a mile from a international airport. The skies were silent that morning. Our phones didn't ring all day. We were glued to the television just staring in disbelief. It was such a scary day. I felt so terrible for the families whose loved ones were being killed. Words still cannot explain how I felt that day. It is a day that I will never forget. It is a day that my children will learn about from history books. It changed our lives forever and made us stronger. God bless this country and God have mercy on the people who did these terrible things. They will need it.
