911DA Story: Story
On September 11th I was at my school in Winter Park, FL. I went into homeroom and my teacher had the television on and that was the first time I saw the disaster. I didn't even know what it was or what was going on, I just thought it was just some accident, it didn't even phase me.
Ten minutes later I went into my first class, which was history. My teacher was going crazy and had his down. He explained what had happened and how important the World Trade Center was. Slowly it all came together to me that this was much more of a problem than I had thought.
When I got to my next class people were talking about it everywhere. Everybody was blaming different countries and pretty soon I realized that it was an act of terrorism and started to get kind of scared. I didn't know what was going to happen because for all I knew we could be at war the next day. The rest of the day went by very slowly because nobody knew what would happen.
