911DA Story: Story
It was a beautiful morning, or so it seemed. I was on maturinty leave from work at walmart. My daughter was only a few weeks old and sleeping in my arms. So obliveous to what was going on in the opposite side of the country. A friend of ours had called to comfort us, but we had not turned on the tv yet that morning. we thought she was crazy or playing a joke on us. To our worst fears we did turn on the tv and the news was posted everywhere of this awful nightmare.
A year later, Sept. 11, 2002. My fellow associates at walmart dressed in red, white, and blue or had shirts with flags. It did not matter what race or color we were we all got togther in the morning and sang the national anthem underneath our flag hanging so proudly. Our prayers and thoughts are to all who lost loved ones and who were amazing heros that day. God Bless and thank you.
