On September 11th, 2001 I was sitting in my Earth Science class with my teacher Miss. Kerch when a boy in our class named Ricky walked in ad said, "A plane just hit the World Trade Centers in New York City!" So my teacher Miss. Kerch turned on the television to CNN and we watched it for the rest of that class period. In my earth science class what we all saw was plane crashing into one of the world trade centers, and then as the whole world was concentrating on the world trade centers another plane hit one of the sides of the pentagon. Then all of a sudden out of nowhere the south tower of the trade canter collapsed. A few seconds later the north tower collapsed. After that the wall on the pentagon collapsed.
That day I was really sad because my cousin works in the US treasury at the pentagon. That day she was supposed to work in the same place where the plane hit the pentagon, but luck fully that day she was rescheduled to work in a camp in Washington D.C. away from where the pentagon was. Another thing I saw on TV a family a wife, daughter, and sister that were looking for this man they searched all over for him. They kept going back and forth past the world trade centers looking all of a sudden the daughter screams, "DADDY!" and she sprints over to him and gives him a huge hug.
One thing I thought was heroic, and sad at the same time was This one little boy and girl I baby sit for, there father is in the US army reserve and he was in NYC helping clean up the world trade centers.
I will always be praying for those families who have lost loved ones and friends. I will always remember that significant day on which the world trade centers were attacked! September 11, 2001.
