September 11 a day of remembering. While in my Spanish 2 class presenting our project, another teacher ran into our classroom and told our teacher to turn on the televison. We then saw one of the WTC was hit and at first I thought it was a big joke, so I started laughing.I turn back to the television and realized that we were on some kind of news channel so I kind of realized this was not a joke. Many students in my class was crying when they saw what had happen, As I was watching the T.V with horror, I was thinking that nothing worst can happen and as I was saying that we found out that the pentagon was hit too.
As the day went by the school allowed kids to use cell phones to call their family if they were okay. As I went through the day of school all I saw on my classmates faces was fright and sorrow. I can say that day of school was very sad. Near the end of the end of the day everyone was shocked about what had happened and some kids had not reached their parents whom worked at the Pentagon and were very scared and afraid.
September 11 affected me indirectly. I didn?t have and family members that died in the WTC or the Pentagon so I really don?t feel the same as someone who had family members that died. I think it affected everyone in some kind of way. It affected me in a good way because I have notice that all of my friends including myself have been more patriotic and proud to be and American.
