My husband and I were home the morning of Sept.11th, when the towers were hit. My husband came to tell me, right after it was broadcast on TV. We were getting ready to go to the cafe and meet with my husband's former classmates, for breakfast, we always meet on Tuesday mornings. It all seemed unreal and difficult to imagine that such a horrific attack had actually happened. We met with our friends, and we all were in shock, we were at the cafe, when a young girl came and told us that the Pentagon had been hit, and that a plane had crashed in a field. We hoped that we would not be hearing of any more deaths. It was a terrible day for Americans, for we were all affected, we just prayed that things would get better for everone in the days ahead. I beleive that there were angels there that day, and that they haven't gone away. I am from Oklahoma, and I had that same sense of peace later after the Ok. bombing, just as I had after the 911 Attacks, there has always been some heavenly intervention, during such tragedy as bad as it gets. I know that we are not alone, and it gives me comfort to think that the people there that day knew it too.
