Im a production worker,while at work that morning someone from the office came running out on to the production floor yelling about an airplane that had accidentally hit one of the Twin Towers.Everyone stopped working and filed into the confrence room where there was a tv set we allwere watching when the 2nd plane hit the other tower.When we heard that the pentigon was also attacked I called my wife to see if she heard.She was crying and told me that her nephew was working there at the pentigon he's with Naval Intelligence.
My heart sank even lower, and as we saw the images of distruction I felt sick as if the wholr world was coming to an end.As we continued to watch we heard of yet another plane apparently high jacked had crashed in Pa.God I thought whats happening how can this be?Then I began to worry for our nephew Charlie M.(I'll leave out his last name for security purposes)was he alive and well.It turned out he was not working that day thank God.It still haunts my family that terrible day even though none of us were actually harmed the pain of others is felt in our hearts.
I still am worried 1 year later every time I put my kid on the bus for school or leave for work. Its not like Im living in constant fear but the thought of terrorism is real now very real....
