Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I will never forget when 911 happened. I was teaching a group of innocent children (sound familiar) when our principal came in and told me to turn the TV on that the World Trade had just been hit by a plane. In disbelief I turned the TV on only to discover that it was all true. The school that I was teaching in on that day is for Dyslexic, ADD & ADHD children and our children come from all over the United States. At the time we had 1 student who was from New York and his father worked as a boat Captain (unsure where). What I witnessed on TV was sooooo unreal and disbelieving (even today its still hard to believe) that someone could be so cruel and full of hate that they would kill thousands of people just to "get even". That day we did not teach any more classes, we sat glued to the TV's and prayed for everyone in New York and for their families. The horror, the stories, the pain, all of this was way to much for our country, but over the past 5 years America is growing stronger. We will never forget the past and the actions that others have taken on our Country, but we have proved that we will not back down and that we will fight for our FREEDOM!!!!
