911DA Story: Story

I had just arrived at work about 8:45AM, the phone was ringing. It was my mom, turn on the TV she says, a plane just went into the Twin Towers. I mmediately turned on the set and there it was the second plane crashing int te second building. As I sat there and watched in HORROR the people running for their lives, building finally collasped and I froze. Thinking of all the people that were trapped as the building just sunk. It was as if you had thrown a pebble in the water and it sank to the bottom. The phones at work started ringing, everyone that called was hysterical. Are you watching TV, the ultimate question, and OH my GOD I need to call NY and find out where my friends are or my family members, if they went to work today. Were they on time. Oh my God they may have been in that building. It left you utterly empty inside, as you sat there and watched. The whole day you could not function, thinking of all the innocent people that died unnecessarily. I yet get a knot in the pit of my stomach just remembering. I did no have anyone that perished on that sad day, but my heart goes out to all of those that lost someone. May the lord ever bless and keep each and every one of them. Continue to hold them up, keep them up in their spirtuality, and not let them give up on life. Hope is always there when you trust and believe in the lord, that he'll keep you strong and that everything will be alright. With much LUV. I'm signing off now. MY BLESSINGS AND HEARTFELT SYMPATHY TO ALL WHO READS THIS. MAY GOD EVER KEEP YOU.
