At the time September 11th happened I was a 6th grader going to school at Keene Mill Elementary, and shortly into the school day my teacher told us all what had happened. She also told us that they were only telling the 6th graders of what happened so we shouldn't talk about it in the hallways. Through out the day kid's parents would come up and take them home from school, but mine never did.
Then when i got home i remember watching the news for almost an entire week straight.
