Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: The day started as most before it. I woke up and headed to school. It was the end of first block when the first plans hit the trade center. I knew something was wrong when we had spent 30 minutes too long in the class and they would not let up leave. I was in the main gym and they called over the intercom system that there have been attacks on the world trades center and the pentogon. This sent most into a panic becase they did not say how bad the pentogon was hit and many parents of students worked at the pentogon. After the anouncement they let us go to our next class but many left early fearing there could be more attacks. There was alot of people crying becase they were afraid a loved one could be in danger. My life was directly effected by the attack on the pentogon. I lost a neighbor who lived only two houses away. We stared to worry about him when he did not come home that night but we figured he stayed to help those in the reckage because that was the kind of guy he was. After a few days we heared that he was declared missing. His body is one of 5 from the pentogon who was never found. these attacks dont compare to anything elese in history. some compare it to pearl harbor but this was much worse the people at pearl harbor in the armed forces and could somewhat defend themselves. The attacks on 9/11 were on innocent people, mothers, fathers, children, friends and family.
