I was INside of wal*mart building a cake display for our line of hostess cakes. about 9 am, the pepsi man comes in and says, someone just drove a 747 jet plane in the side of the world trade center. Then he came back later and said, it had happened again. i really did,nt beleave him at the time. then when we got back into martinsville, we stopped the dodge store for coffee and we heard on the radio that the world trade centers was on the ground. it was then and there that this terrible feeling came over me. i went home and watched tv all day. i could not beleave my eyes.. this could never happe in america....but it did!
