I can remember going to bed a little early that night while I was on deployment. I was awakened by a ship mate about midnight to tell me that the wtc was on fire and to be into work at 7 am. Also he told me to watch CNN. I turned on the TV just as the second plane struck the other tower. I was horrified that how could this happen. I then started a pot of coffee and stayed up and watched t.v for the rest of the night. I also tried to call my wife in WA state to see that she was okey.
