I just sent my son off to first grade and about 1 hour later my cousin called and told me to turn on the news that a jet hit the WTC. While watching in disbelief another hit the second one. Then the announcement of the Pentagon and the other jet crashing. I was stunned to say the least and thankful that all I love were okay and near. I thought of the people in the planes and the buildings and said a prayer. While I watched the towers crumble I was completely breathless.
We all think how mighty those buildings were and we were saddened by their demise. The greatest loss of course is the lives that were lost. I am so thankful that my God was with each and every person so they were not alone.
I am thrilled that those people did not die in vane because this country was so seperated and those people brought us all back together and to God. I love seeing God Bless America on bumpers, building, billboards, etc.
I am so glad we have a President like Mr. Bush and I have every confidence in him.
The people that took over the plane and gave their lives to save so many others are true heros.
May Jesus Christ be with each family and friend that lost so much that day and ease the pain.
