As tragic 9/11 was, I must say, I am not totally surprised or shocked. For as a Bible believing Christian, I see that our society and the world in general has grossly removed itself from God. Though, America continues to claim being vastly "Christian", it would seem that Americans have forsaken the Biblical foundation which our founding fathers established this great country on. Biblical standards and absolutes are no longer tolerated, rather the "standard" is to force people to tolerate what ever. There no longer is a right or wrong, for this country refuses an absolute standard to judge right and wrong against.
Our moral fabric is so tattered, that it is all but a crime to display Christian symbols in public, to post "The Ten Commandment" in public places, to say the name of the Christian God in public, to proclaim Biblical teaching in public, and the list goes on. For our places of worship to teach against abortion, divorce, adultery, homosexuality, the corruption of a political candidate is now not politically correct and such institutions will lose their tax exempt status under current IRS law.
There is a solution, there is hope for American people(and the world). This solution and hope is found in the Bible, The Word of God, an everlasting Truth, an absolute standard.
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chr 7:14
