My brother and i were sick on September 11, 2001 so we went back to bed. My sisters bus was late, so she was late for work. Around 8:00 Kansas time, 11:00 New York time my mom came home to get a TV because she answered phones and couldnt stay in the back office. She said she heared on the raido on her way to work the DJs making jokes about a plane flying into the WTC. We turned on the TV and it was no joke. My brother and I sat in front of the TV all day even though we were sick. I was so scared, even though I lived in Kansas and there was nothing there. I though every time a plane flew over they were going to drop bombs. I am still scared today but I want to say thank you to all the heros, fire fighters and miltary who are defened our country today.
