Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: One September 11, 2001, I was at home awaiting the birth of my 2nd son who was 7 days late. I hadn't turned on the TV yet, but I remember thinking something was strange after I received a call from my Mother and Mother-In-Law within minutes of one another wanting to know exactly what I was doing. Soon afterwards, my husband calls and tells me to turn on the TV, because the twin towers in New York had been hit. I thought back to all the years I had debated on whether to bring another child into this crazy world and now here we are in what seems like WWIII. Three days later my son Chase was born. After looking into his eyes, I knew everything would work out just like they always do with a little time. I thanked God for the miracle of my 2 sons, my great husband, and wonderful family. My heart and prayers go out to the victim's families who are still trying to cope with their every day lives let alone their future. As I celebrate Chase's 1st birthday this Saturday, I will also celebrate the lives given so that we may have these special moments.
