911DA Story: Story
On September 11th, my sister-in-law, Laura Marie Ragonese-Snik who worked for AON Consultants in the South Tower was lost in the collapse of the WTC. There are no words for my story ... It is like those of 3,000 other families whose loved ones did not return home on September 11th ... It is the sound of silence ... of tears ... your worst nightmare. There is no way to comprehend hatred so deep that it drives people to destroy the most precious of God's creations ... Innocent Human Beings.
Our family is broken now but because of our love for Laura, we have done our best to pick up the pieces, and move forward in a way that would make her proud of us. She was an extraordinary person who will live in our hearts forever.
Hold onto this thought for the sake of every person lost that day: "What the catipillar calls the end of the world ... The Master calls a Butterfly."
May Peace on Earth Prevail.
Sincerely,
Maria Ragonese
