Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I actually was reading my email that morning. When my father called me and said a plane hit the World Trade Center. Thinking nothing of it, I asked him a few questions on what kind of plane it was, little or big? He didnt know. He asked if I had talked to my younger sister, who works in NYC, by the Empire State Building. I said "no". So we finished talking about it and I turned on the tv. My father had called back again. We were chatting about who will call Nicky. Thats when we both saw on tv the second plane hit! I was beside myself. My father just yelled "CAll your sister NOW!" Which I did as soon as I hung up with him. She first had no clue of what was really happening. She said she might take the first bus out of the city with some co-workers.She did miss that bus. It took forever to get through to her. Thats when she told me she was going to leave her cell on and try to get out of the city. She also told me there were rumors that the towers were leaning and going to fall. After getting of the phone, the 2nd tower fell. She was already out of her building and on her way to a friends home. No one could leave the city. I couldnt even call my mother in New Jersey. The phone lines were jammed! I was really scared for my sister. Even though she didnt work in the WTC's she had friends that did and around them also. That was really scary. I dont think any will ever forget this day. Its to unreal. I still cant comprehend it. It still feels like it was yesterday that this had happened. I was afraid that all of NYC was going to be bombed! I still feel for all those people who were lost in the WTC. Even though I didnt know anyone in the buildings, they were all innocent Americans, who did not deserve to die the way they did!!
