Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I had just dropped off my 3 kids at school and was listening to the radio in my kitchen when the DJ mentioned that a plane had struck the World Trade Center. I yelled to my husband to turn the T.V. on because I was sure it would be on the news, and as we both sat on the couch watching (our first thought was, wow, how could that poor guy flying the plane not see the Trade Center), then right before our eyes the second plane hit and I looked at my husband for some sort of explanation, and he said "oh, that was just debris from the other plane hitting the seond building". We finally realized that it was a second plane that hit, not debris and we both freaked. I was devastated. I couldn't move from the couch. I knew then that those buildings would come down, there was way too much damage to repair. For the rest of the day as well as the entire week, I was in s state of shock watching it over and over again on T.V.
