911DA Story: Story
I was sitting in the livingroom when my daughter brught her three year old son so she could go to work. We watched as the second plane hit in horror. My niece was in NY on business and I was terrified. Luckily, she was standing in a parking lot outside her hotel across the river and heard the first and actually saw the second plane hit. She finally managed to get a bus home on Friday.
My three year old grandson said in his innocence, "Uncle Teddy, a fireman, needs to get his ropes and climb up and help them people climb down." At that moment, I knew, we as a country, had lost a precious part of ourselves, our innocence as a nation. We had been attacked on our own soil. God Beless America.
