On September 11, I was in my sixth grade class taking a vocabulary quiz. During the quiz, another teacher came in and whispered something to my teacher. My teacher then asked if any of us had parents who worked in the Pentagon. I raised my hand because my dad worked in the Pentagon and Crystal City. My teacher then took those of us who raised our hands into the hallway and told us what happened. I was devestated. I thought my dad might have been in the Pentagon that day. My teacher then let us make phone calls to home to see if our parents were okay. Luckily, my dad was on the other side of the Pentagon to pick up medicine and that was it. I dont know what I would have done if my dad had gotten killed in the attacks.
