Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I live in Louisville, Ky. That day, i slept late. My husband got up early, He works 40 hr weekends so he's home during the week. He had not had the television on, and while he was on the computer, he was working on a photoshop project, so he had not yet connected to the internet. When i got up, i turned on the televison, so the kids could watch cartoons. We could see right away that something had happened. They were mentioning airport or airports, and I thought that something had happened at Louisville international. They said something that wasnt right, it didnt sound right. We had come into the middle of it all and couldnt figure out what was happening. I had my husband connect to the net and go to yahoo's front page. I was looking over his shoulder. I said, "no, no, no!!!" and just started bawling.. All those people. 50 thousand people in those towers. By the time i found out about it, it was already over, but the horror of it all was just as if i had been sitting in front of the television, watching it all happen. The irony was if i had gotten up early, I would have been able to; usually it was me who got up first, and the first thing i did was turn the tv or the computer on. I spent the day mostly in front of the television, i cried off and on all day.
