On September 11th I was at school. I just came back from gym when my teacher told me what happened. I don't know If I understood what happened at first. Because when I first heard that a plane was in the twin towers I thought it was only an accident. I guess it wasn't until I got home that I saw it on the news and People were saying we were being attacked. That changed my life dramatically because that year I became a volunteer firefighter for my town. A lot of people take each day for granted and the truth is we may not see the next day. I guess we will never get over it. I think the cops and firefighter are our true heroes. They went down there and some never returned. I will pray for everybody who are keeping us safe.
