Like any other day I had taken my 8 year old to school and had my 11 year old with me for homeschooling. I was thinking how it was my brothers birthday and what I would get for him. I had to make a stop at the store and over heard someone say a plane hit the World Trade Center. I thought no big deal someone flew a small two seater to low they would have it fixed in no time. Well was I ever surprised when I found out what really happened. I know that I was in such shock I really did not know how to act. My son asked me what happened and I explained to him what little I knew. When I got to work and saw on T. V. what was really going on I thought oh my god how could anyone do this to all these innocent people. It has been a year and I still cry for all of those people that lost there lives on that day and wonder if my heart will ever stop aching for them and their families.
I know now not to take life for granted kiss and hug my husband and children everyday no matter what and to make sure that the first and last thing that they hear from me is that I love them.
