I was lying in bed asleep with my almost 3 year old next to me when the phone rang. I wondered who in the world could be calling me before 7 in the morning!!! I was 8 months pregnant and sleep was very important to me- at the time. I went down stairs so as not to wake Emily up and I listened to the answer machine. My husband was telling me to call him and turn on the t.v. So I did and suddenly was thrust in what I thought was a very bad Bruce Willis Movie!! I watched in horror at the violence unfolding and all I could do was cry!! So much hate to do this to innocent people. Tolerance and living every minute are the few lessons that I have learned from this horrible tragedy. God Bless our Heros- firemen/women, policemen/women, and the everyday person who took the time to help someone and made it out or perished. THEY are the true heros!! God Bless America
