Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My husband and I live in Ohio, but had gone to Atlantic City for a long weekend. We left A.C. at 7:00 AM because we had an 8 1/2 to 9 hour drive ahead of us. We were on the PA turnpike & driving through the mountains so we didn't have the radio on, we were listening to cd's. We stopped at a rest stop to get something to eat & every person in the parking lot was on their cell phone. It looked strange, but I went on in to get the food while me husband waited in the car. While I was in line I heard two women talking. One of them said, "I can't believe two days ago we were looking at the Twin Towers & now they're gone." I got back in the car & told my husband something was going on & to turn on the radio. We listened to the radio the rest of the way home, we couldn't believe what we were hearing. We were so far from our kids and just so desperate to be with them. We passed within 30 miles of the Pennsylvania crash sight. We didn't see the sight, but we passed approximately 25 police & government cars on their way to the sight on the other side of the turnpike. It was just so unreal. I cried most of the way home.
