I just got home after taking my daughter to preschool and I turned on the television. I could not believe what I was seeing. I thought it was a horrible movie, it just could not be real. During the day I felt so grateful to live in our country that this experience is an unusual one. How horrible to live in the middle east and other areas of the world where terrorism is a daily occurance. I am so grateful for the little things in life. As Sheryl Crow says "It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got." It is important to be kinder to each other regardless of race, religion, or any other reason, and to be more aware of what is going on around us.
