Tell us your story: I want to start with a prayer, Our father who art in heaven,it has been a year now and we still grieve for those who were lost,& their family's. Give them the strength and guidence they need to contuine. Be with our Nation's Leaders, our soldiers & thier family's as they risk thier lives for us all, Amen. Where was I when the world stoped turning that September day? It was a normal beautiful fall morning, I was home, having already sent my oldest child to school, & preparing one of my other children for preschool. My Mother in Law called & asked if I knew what was happening. No I replied. She told me to turn on the Television to the news, I was shocked when I saw what was happening. One of the WTC towers was crumbling to the ground and the other one had a huge hole in it. As I continued to watch the news I learnt the Pentagon was also hit, & they believed their was a plane headed for the White House. Those people on that PA flight were so increadible they served their country as if they were soldiers.( and even though they didnt have issued uniforms or military papers they were true soldiers as well as hero's) I made calls to Loved ones & friends. I picked up a notebook and started to write things down that were being told on the news. My oldest child came home she had already heard some of the news from school. I remember her saying she wished this had never happend. While I might not have been directly affected or lost anyone in the attacks. I still grieve for the lost and thier family's & our Nation, And I appreciate even more the freedom we have. We will never forget 9/11/01, & we will continue to grow strong & stay united. I am thankful that I am an American Yesterday Today and Tomorrow. God Bless America!!!!
