I was on my way to work when I heard the news of the first plane hitting the World Trade Center. I thought that it was just a small plane. After the second plane hit, I received a phone call from my mother telling me that the United States was being attacked. I could not believe what I had heard. We found a television and turned it on. At that point I was in fear and shock. To this day, I still am very moved by the events of that day. I was not involved personally by the attacks, but I pray for the families of the heroes and victims of that day. God Bless America! We will stand strong and come out a better nation! United We Stand!
