I was watching cartoons with my daughter on Nickalodean when my husband called home to tell me to change the channel. As I watched the events of the day, I witnessed the second attack on the Twin Towers. I fell to my knees crying and I held my daughter tight. I could not believe what was happening. The most eerie feeling for me over the next few days though was not hearing any airplanes fly overhead. We live in a city with 3 active Air Force and Army bases. It was a silence I don't ever want to hear again.
