911DA Story: Story
A year from today i was getting ready for school. I remember as if it was yesterday, I was getting out of my boyfriends car and a guy came running up to us shoutting,
" The Twin Towers have been hit." At first we looked at him like he was crazy because we had never seen him. But as soon as we got in to our first period class my teacher was crying. We didn't understand why till she put on the news. Her husband had been in New York where everything was happing. Every class we went to the T.V. was on to the news. Then it hit me, i finally knew what that guy was talking about. When i got home my parents had the T.V. on the same thing. It scared me because I just thought to my self that could of been us in all that mess. But at the same time it was us because we are all apart of the same country and what happend there effected everyone else. My parents couldn't believe what had happend. September 11 will always be emotional to me because I think about all the people who have lost their families, and i think how i would be with out my parents or any of my famliy. Not only am i sad but mad at the same time, i can't see how people can do this to some body else. As long as we stay as a nation and as one, we will get stronger.
