I was at work when my employer's wife called me to tell me about the first airplane hitting the World Trade Center. I turned the radio on and listened to the events as they unfolded. It was a horrific event and a great tragedy for all Americans. What I remember most, is talking with a coworker, Dan LaBelle about the events not knowing that in a few months Dan would also die. It just lets you know that life is short and you need to appreciate every moment and not let anything spoil the joy God gives you.
